John Terry shocking reaction after Chelsea beat Fulham 2-0 tonight

Chelsea picked up just their second Premier League victory of the season with a much-needed result tonight against Fulham.

The Blues made the short trip across London to face neighbours Fulham, winning by a 2-0 scoreline and picking up all three points to move up to 11th in the league table.

It’s been a tough ride for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in terms of struggling to score goals, but they ended their recent goal drought in the league at Craven Cottage.

Mykhailo Mudryk finally scored his first goal for the club in some style. He tucked in a left-footed finish after getting on the end of Levi Colwill’s through ball over the top, so let’s hope the injury that forced him off at half time isn’t too serious.

Meanwhile, Armando Broja added a second goal for the Blues also immediately after the first, receiving a bit of luck with the finish. He’s another Chelsea goalscorer that left the pitch with a suspected injury problem, so again we’ll wait to hear the extent for a striker that looked sharp on his first start in 11 months.

Chelsea legend Terry couldn’t hold in his excitement after his former club’s win on Monday night against their neighbours.
Terry wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

One Team In Fulham… CHELSEA! Never been a London Derby! We have been and always will be on a different level. Proper Chels.”

This result was massive for Chelsea after a poor start in the league, winning one of their opening six league games.

They’re now up to eight points from seven games and travel to newly-promoted Burnley on the weekend for their final game before the international break. A win a Turf Moor would certainly give a different outlook on the start to the season.

We’re certainly concerned about potential injuries to this group, especially with such a long injury list already. It was a reminder this evening that Pochettino can still field a strong XI, though.
