Jose Mourinho set to make Shock move back to Chelsea
According to The Sun, a UK tabloid, Jose Mourinho is ready to take over Chelsea for the third time in his managerial career.
Considering the source’s reliability the alleged move is unlikely to happen but Mou is named among Lampard, Max Allegri, Erik ten Hag from Ajax, Nuno Espirito Santo and Javi Gracia as potential replacements for Maurizio Sarri.
Maurizio is believed to be on the verge of joining Juventus (The Guardian). Thus, the Blues are ‘accelerating the hunt for a successor’ to the departing Italian.
Lampard is widely wanted by the Blues supporters. However, the club’s top brass reportedly doubt the Derby boss as a right person to lead Chelsea to the top-4 finish next season.
That’s where the two-time ex-Chelsea boss comes to the stage. Jose won 3 Premier League titles, 3 EFLCups and the FA Cup during five years at Stamford Bridge.
Mou ‘would seriously consider making a third return’ to West London, should the board come calling, as per The Sun.
