Juventus left-back Alex Sandro has been heavily linked with Chelsea in the past with the Blues reportedly submitting a bid for the Brazilian in the summer of 2017.
According to Italian media outlet Tuttosport, Juventus still haven’t agreed a contract renewal with Sandro and are now considering making a move for Real Madrid’s Marcelo or Barcelona’s Jordi Alba to replace Sandro at the club.
Sandro’s contract expires in 2020 and Juventus could be forced to sell Sandro if he fails to sign a new contract before the end of the season.
While many expected Sandro to sign a new contract with Juventus after Chelsea failed to sign him, Tuttosport claim negotiations over a new contract for Sandro have stalled for some time – with the club now pursuing other alternatives.
Premier League rivals Manchester United are also reportedly interested in signing the left-back.
Do you think we need him at Chelsea?
