Klopp cries out as key Liverpool player set to miss Carabao Cup final with an injury
Liverpool have suffered a setback as they head towards the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea later this month.
In a rather unfortunate turn of events for Jurgen Klopp’s side, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been declared a doubt for the League Cup showdown.
The right-back, is expected to miss this weekend’s trip to Brentford, as he continues to battle with a minor tear in a lateral knee ligament, which was sustained during the Reds’ FA Cup clash against Arsenal back in January.
According to reports from The Mirror and other outlets, Trent Alexander-Arnold is cautious about a hasty return to avoid exacerbating the issue.
If this is true, Chelsea may have to face Conor Bradley again, which means that they must now find a way to keep the equally dangerous youngster on a leash, after what he did in the league visit to Anfield two weeks ago.
