Chelsea got a good 3-0 victory against Burnley at Stamford Bridge as the Blues bounced back from back to back home defeats.
It was a good all round performance from the home side and goals from Jorginho, Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi sealed a massive home win for Frank Lampard’s side.
Speaking to the press after the game, Lampard revealed that he was particularly pleased with Hudson-Odoi and Ross Barkley who were both restored to the starting line-up for this game.
“It didn’t feel like a risk (fielding an attacking line-up) but felt right in the game,” said Lampard after the game.
“We haven’t scored enough. “I felt we wanted to get more on pitch, Barkley in there helped. You have to fight against Burnley. Matched them in the fight.
“It’s a very convincing win. I thought there were some great passages of play throughout the game but the overall performance was superb.
“We played with a really positive attitude – particularly Ross [Barkley] and Callum [Hudson-Odoi]. We have set a standard today and we know we haven’t reached that recently.
