Machine ‘wants’ Chelsea move – Chelsea offer massive £87 million to land top target

Sporting Lisbon’s defensive machine Manuel Ugarte is now keen to complete his six-year move to CHELSEA

The season is pretty much done for us and Frank Lampard – there is one game to go before the club can put a miserable campaign behind them.

There has been no silverware – there will not be any European football for next season – there has been a number of manager changes and the club may even finish in the bottom half of the table.

Now the club can focus on adding to their squad in the summer transfer window and signing players that will make a difference – and Ugarte is a man that the club reportedly want.

Ugarte joined Sporting for just over £5million in the summer of 2021 from fellow Portuguese side Famalicao.

He has impressed during his second season at Sporting, with the midfielder making 47 appearances in all competitions – and now it seems that he could be heading to Stamford Bridge

Todd Boehly recently sent his right-hand man, Alvalade Behdad Eghbali, to watch Ugarte, and Chelsea have been given a boost with the player reportedly preferring a move to Stamford Bridge over the Parc des Princes.

CHELSEA ‘s main target heading into the summer transfer window is Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed.

Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel had a number of targets on the shopping list over the summer as he looked wot add a world class striker to the side – and the club were linked with numerous players – but couldn’t get a deal done

They had to wait until the very last minute of the transfer window to get the striker that Tuchel wanted – and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was signed by the Blues.

However – it is believed that incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to add another striker to the attack at the end of the season – as he has been promised by Ted Boehly that there will be funds available to sign the players he wants

And that has led to suggestions that Osimhen is a man that Pochettino has asked the club to sign after his stunning season with the Italians led to the club securing a Seria A title.

Now Galetti has confirmed that Chelsea will be in the market for a new striker in the summer transfer window, with Osimhen their main target, and the journalist also adds that they could make an offer of over €100m (£87m).

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: CHELSEA are looking for a new striker this summer. Victor Osimhen remains the main target and they could offer more than €100m for the Nigerian player.”
