Marcos Alonso has insisted that he is not even entertaining the possibility of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois leaving Chelsea FC this summer.
Both of the Belgium internationals’ futures have been constant sources of speculation this summer following Chelsea FC’s failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Hazard has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid and the 27-year-old has hinted that he may be set to consider his situation this summer.
Courtois, meanwhile, is also thought to be a target for the Spanish club, with the goalkeeper only having one year left to run on his current contract with the Blues.
Both Hazard and Courtois are currently on their summer holidays following their involvement in the World Cup with Belgium this summer in Russia.
And Alonso insists that he is expecting both players to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer transfer window.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports News, Alonso said: “I am not even thinking about that. They are Chelsea players and I am looking forward to seeing them after their holidays.
“They are top players and very important for us.
“Every season with Chelsea, we have to fight for every competition and every game and we will go for it.”
Chelsea FC have so far only signed Jorginho from Napoli this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.
The Blues ended up in fifth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last term.
