Chelsea director has met with the agent of Suso, a player they are hugely thinking of bringing to Stamford Bridge.
AC Milan midfielder, Suso has been gaining points for his assists and all action kind of football on show at his club.
He currently tops the assists charts in Europe with seven so far.
His exploits have not gone unnoticed and Chelsea have sent their director of football Marina Granovskaia to personally see to the completion of the deal in January or in the summer.
It is further reported that the club’s director of football held a talk with the player’s agent Alessandro Lucci which will hopefully smoothen the players movement to Stamford Bridge.
The player who hitherto played for Liverpool has a €38m release clause that can be activated by any interested suitor.
A fee that will not deter Chelsea if their interest is genuine.
Chelsea have not lost in their last ten league outings. Credit to the introduction of Sarri and his system which have seen them tear teams to shred bar Liverpool, Manchester United and WestHam United.
Adding Suso to the fray will almost certainly make them unplayable as they look to displace Manchester City at the top of the table.
