“Massive signings” – Chelsea close to signing THREE new players in coming weeks – Romano confirms

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Marc Guiu, and Aaron Anselmino are close to joining Chelsea.

The Brazilian youth Estevao will join the Blues next year as part of a deal that was confirmed, and they have already recruited Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer from Fulham.

Three more players will soon join Chelsea’s roster in time for the 2024–25 Premier League campaign.

The transfer of Dewsbury-Hall is quite advanced; a medical has been scheduled following Chelsea’s agreement with Leicester City, and Anselmino and Guiu are anticipated to join the Stamford Bridge team very soon.

Chelsea have already triggered the €6 million release clause in Guiu’s Barcelona contract and Anselino is set to arrive too. According to Ben Jacobs, a deal for the Boca Juniors defender is now close to completion after a €16.5m fee was agreed between the two clubs.

All three deals are expected to be finalised within the coming days.

What has Fabrizio Romano said?

Transfer expert Romano provided an update on Chelsea’s transfer business to CaughtOffside. “Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City – the deal is done for £30m,” he said.

“The player had a medical at Brighton earlier this week but now he’s joining Chelsea because he wanted to wait for them. Michael Golding is moving from Chelsea to Leicester as part of the agreement.

“Chelsea are also set to announce the signing of Marc Guiu from Barcelona after they triggered the €6m release clause, while his medical was also done two days ago.

“Next one – Aaron Anselmino from Boca Juniors, with negotiations underway between the two clubs. The agreement is really close, it’s about the final details, while there is already an agreement with the player on a contract until 2030.”
