Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has reiterated that he has no plans of parting ways with Willian this month amid the ongoing interest from Spanish champions Barcelona.

The Brazilian was recently the subject of a player-plus-cash deal from Barcelona involving Malcom but the Blues snubbed the approach without any second thoughts.

Willian has since starred for the Blues against Newcastle United where he scored a sublime curling goal which proved to be the winner and speaking after the game, Sarri reiterated the importance of the winger.

“You know very well that Willian is a very important player for us, as I said yesterday in the news conference. In my opinion Willian has to stay with us,” he said via Goal.com.

Meanwhile, Willian was asked about the same following his man of the match performance and the winger suggested that his immediate future remains with the Blues.

Chelsea are currently assessing the position of Callum Hudson-Odoi amid the regular attempts from Bayern Munich to prise him away and the teenage graduate appears the likelier to leave the club this month.

Willian has been with the Blues since the summer of 2013 and during the past five-and-a-half seasons, he has contributed 49 goals from 268 appearances for the club.
