Maurizio Sarri talked to the media ahead of the Crystal Palace clash.

Chelsea will be facing their southern neighbours on Sunday.
The Italian coach provided an injury update.

Morata is fully fit to face The Eagles.

Maurizio Sarri talked to the media prior to Chelsea’s match against Crystal Palace on Sunday. Answering the reporter’s questions about players’ injuries, he said:

“Two problems, the first more serious with Pedro. A hamstring injury and I think that he will have to rest for about ten days. The second problem was Odoi, it’s not a serious problem but I don’t think he will play in the next match.”

Speaking of Alvaro Morata who missed The Blues’ last victory over Watford, the boss said: “As I said in the last press conference, Morata is going very well. He is fit to play, it was only a tactical choice [to leave him out].”

Chelsea play against Crystal Palace on Sunday, so it’s unlikely that any of these players will take part in the game. As one of the options, Sarri may play Hazard as a winger again along with Willian and use one of Chelsea’s centre-forwards: Morata or Giroud.
