Chelsea star Ethan Ampadu is set to leave the club on loan in January with a number of Championship teams interested.
The midfielder joined from Exeter City in 2017 and has become a Wales international in the last 12 months after a rapid rise.
Ampadu made seven appearances under Antonio Conte last term but is yet to feature for Maurizio Sarri, despite the Italian talking up his potential.
Chelsea, though, believe in Ampadu and feel his development would be best served by a loan spell away from Stamford Bridge.
According to Goal, the club have received a number of offers from Championship clubs and are now prepared to let Ampadu leave for the remainder of the season.
Chelsea handed the midfielder a new five-year deal in September in acknowledgement of their belief in him.
Both Derby County – managed by Frank Lampard – and Aston Villa – where John Terry is assistant manager – have both enquired about the availability of the Chelsea midfielder.
