Maurizio Sarri says the Belgian will unlikely take part vs Derby County on Wednesday but is due to be back against The Eagles on Sunday
The 27-year-old winger has missed the last two Chelsea games against BATE Borisov and Burnley
In his recent press conference after the incredible 4-0 victory over The Clarets Maurizio Sarri has commented on his team’s performance without Eden Hazard while also claiming the Belgian should return next Sunday against Crystal Palace.
“I want him every match if possible because we have a lot of good players,” Sarri told reporters after the Burnley win.
I am very happy as the team was able to score seven goals in two matches without Hazard. That’s a good sign.
I want Eden as soon as possible. I’m not sure for Wednesday but hopefully for Sunday.”
Eden Hazard is the joint-best goalscorer of the Premier League this season along with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
However, the Belgian has been ruled out of the games against BATE Borisov and Burnley due to the injury sustained at Stamford Bridge during the clash with Man United.
