Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri in a recent statement has made it known that he wants Spain international, Cesc Fabregas to remain at Stamford Bridge.
The former Arsenal star has so far made 5 appearances in the English premier league with Italian midfielder, Jorginho taking his place this season.
Cesc Fabregas has been linked with moves away from West London club to the likes of AC Milan, AS Monaco and PSG all interested in him.
However, Maurizio Sarri hinted that he wants Fabregas to remain at Stamford Bridge because the Spanish player and Jorginho are the only technical midfield players that the Blues have.
“I want him to stay, I don’t know the final decision of Cesc and the club of course.
“But for me it’s very important and if Cesc will go I think that we need to buy another player, and it’s not easy because, technically, Cesc is a very important player.
“And I think that in the market it’s very difficult to find a player with his characteristics.”
The Blues manager hinted that if Cesc Fabregas must leave then the Blues must first sign a new midfielder, who is a perfect replacement.
