Chelsea have sealed the signing of Kazakhstan’s rising star Dastan Satpaev in a record-breaking transfer from Kairat Almaty, marking the most expensive deal in Kazakhstan Premier League history.
The 16-year-old forward will join the Blues in the summer of 2026 when he turns 18, as per FIFA regulations, with the deal reportedly worth €4 million, including add-ons.
Upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge, Satpaev will sign a five-year contract with an option for an additional year, highlighting Chelsea’s confidence in his long-term potential.
The young striker has already made waves at youth level, scoring an impressive 28 goals and providing 10 assists in just 32 matches for Kairat’s junior teams. In the UEFA Youth League this season, Satpaev has contributed a goal and an assist in four appearances. On the international stage, he has netted four goals in 10 matches for Kazakhstan’s national team.
