Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is in the final year of his contract with the Blues and he’s unset for a new contract talk.
According to reports, the Belgian international is yet to decide whether he wants to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond this season or to move on with his career at Santiago Bernabeu next season.
When asked about his future, the Belgian netminder revealed to newsmen that he is presently keen on helping his country to the world cup final and also take a step further by winning the prestigious trophy for the first time in Belgium’s history.
However, he revealed that his future lies in the hands of his children, whom he hasn’t seen for more than a year.
The goalkeeper’s Children reside in Spain but he claimed that he needs to seek their attention before making any decision about his future.
“My kids will play an important role in my decision.” he confessed.
Should his children want their father with them after the summer World Cup, Real Madrid will be given a huge boost in their desire of capturing his signature.
Having seen that they stand a limited chance of convincing the Belgian Star to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer, the Blues are reportedly set to cash-in on his signature but it remains unknown if they would love to sanction his move to Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
PSG are also in the race for his service this summer as Tuchel wants to improve his goalkeeping department ahead of next season.
