Aaron Anselmino is expected to join Chelsea’s roster.
The Boca Juniors defender is in London right now finishing up his Chelsea physical.
More information about Aaron Anselmino has been provided to Chelsea News by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
“Aaron Anselmino, in London today to undergo medical tests and sign six year contract as Chelsea player,” reports Romano.
“Deal valid until June 2030 plus option until 2031, then he will go back on loan to Boca Juniors.
“Anselmino will travel back to Buenos Aires this week.”
Speaking with ESPN, the Argentine revealed his happiness to sign for Chelsea: “I’m very happy, everything happened very quickly.
“Since I was a little boy, I dreamed of this, things are going well and I hope they continue like this. Every footballer dreams of this opportunity, I’m very happy.”
The 19-year-old will be loaned back to Boca Juniors after signing for Chelsea. The Blues will pay a fee of around €20m for the Argentine.
