Next Chelsea transfer deal close: £100m-rated ace agree to complete Chelsea move

According to our Football News sources, Chelsea have asked Barcelona to keep them informed should the La Liga title holders deem former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho available for transfer.

Coutinho only joined Barcelona last January from Liverpool in a reported £142million. This season has been a hard one for the Brazilian as he’s been struggling for a regular playing time with Ousmane Dembele.

The report adds that Barca are open to selling Coutinho to fund a move for Neymar and Manchester United have also made an enquiry above the possibility of making a move for him.

If reports are anything to go by, Chelsea have been told that the player could be bought for £100million. The report adds that the Blues will battle United for the former Red.

The report adds that Coutinho wants things to work out in Spain but is open to a move away if things don’t improve.

The Brazilian would make an excellent signing for Maurizio Sarri and provide the West London club with some creativity in the midfield. The Blues have struggled to get the attack going this season and failed to impress in the recent loss to Arsenal.

Likes of Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley haven’t really lived up to expectations at the Bridge this season and the signing of Coutinho would be a smart move given his experience in the Premier League and his exploits with Liverpool.
