‘Not a good sign atall’: David Seaman worried after what he’s heard ‘today’ about Chelsea

David Seaman has claimed that something he has just heard about Chelsea has left him really worried.

He claimed on the ‘Seaman Says’ podcast that the fact that so many staff at the club were fired during the changing of owners is certainly not a sign that all is well at Stamford Bridge.

There have been plenty of issues put down to the new ownership since they took over the club just over a year ago.

Some of this criticism has been valid, with the way they handled the first transfer window at the club certainly eye-opening.

However, since then they seem to have taken the right steps to becoming less involved with proceedings on the pitch.

Seaman worried about Chelsea

This did take a momentary break over the weekend when it emerged that one of the two big names in the ownership, Behdad Eghbali, was seen entering the dressing room following the defeat to Aston Villa.

However, it emerged that this was not due to the nature of the performance that he had just seen.

Despite this, Seaman has still claimed the high turnover behind the scenes is something that leaves him worried for what is to come at Chelsea.

He said: “I also heard today that a lot of the back room staff got fired in the changing over process, that’s normally not a good sign. As in, not just backroom coaches but kit men and that’s what I heard this morning, that’s not good.”

This has only been added to in recent hours, with it being reported that club legend Claude Makelele has left his role as an advisor at the club.
