OFFICIAL: Chelsea complete shock deadline transfer as £300,000-a-week star joins Chelsea
An official offer has been made by Chelsea to sign Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
For a while now, Chelsea has been connected to the 24-year-old winger, and they have even entertained the idea of a potential Raheem Sterling trade.
Jadon Sancho of Manchester United is reportedly the target of an offer from Chelsea, but one that is conditional.
According to Sky Sports News, the loan offer could become an obligation to buy if certain thresholds are met.
Sancho’s move to Juventus has since broken down. The loan fee from Chelsea is thought to be more than Juventus offered for Sancho and talks are continuing between Chelsea and United ahead of the 11pm deadline.
United would prefer to sell Sancho but have not ruled out on another loan for Sancho who spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho still has two years remaining on his contract with Manchester United, with United retaining the option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.
