Ola Aina has signed for Torino on loan from Chelsea, it has been confirmed by reports emerging out of Italy.

Gianluca Di Marzio says the player is putting pen to paper on his contract with the Italians, who are believed to have an option to sign the player permanently.

Aina has rejected interest from English clubs, including West Brom, in order to complete a move to Torino.

The Nigerian international spent last season on loan at Hull City, where he was a regular for the Championship outfit.

Aina now moves abroad in the next stage of his career in a similar move to Nathaniel Chalobah’s loan stint with Napoli.

The defender spent pre-season with Chelsea but does not feature in Maurizio Sarri’s plans going forward, with the Blues head coach already having both Cesar Azpilicueta and Davide Zappacosta battling it out on the right-hand side.
