Former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is in line to replace Mauricio Pochettino as the Tottenham Hotspur manager according to the latest reports emanating from the British media.
Its no longer news that Tottenham Hotspur have sacked Mauricio Pochettino from his managerial job at the club after leading the 2019 Champions League finalists to a poor start to the present Premier League campaign.
Spurs are languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table and they are a long distance away from their target of a top-four finish.
The North Londoners have just 14 points from 12 league games this season and they are in 14th position on the log.
However, they are 11 points adrift of their target of a top-four finish.
According to experienced journalist David Ornstein of The Athletic, Jose Mourinho is in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over their vacant managerial position.
Jose Mourinho has been without a managerial job since being sacked as the Manchester United manager at the end of last year though the Portuguese has been linked with several jobs in the past.
