Chelsea will be without Eden Hazard for their Europa League clash on Thursday with the defender fighting to be fit for the Blues trip to Burnley on Sunday.
The Belgium international picked up a back injury in the warm-up to the Manchester United game last Saturday.
The Blues talisman failed to produce the kind of magic he has often wielded in games this season and the hints were that he was playing through the pain barrier.
After the game, there was confirmation that he had picked up an injury to his lower back and could be out of action for the next two weeks.
Maurizio Sarri in his pre-match presser ahead of the Thursday night game against BATE Borisov but could line up against Burnley at the Turf Moor if he successfully negotiates the next few days of recovery.
Hazard has eight goals this season in all competitions and will likely be pushed to make it back quickly and help Chelsea title bid.
Sarri on Hazard back problem: "Tomorrow, he is out for sure. He has a back problem. We are trying to solve the problem for Sunday, it is not very easy. The other one out is Ampadu." #CFC #UEL
