Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater has finished his loan spell with Burnley and has returned back to the club.
Upon his return, the 29-year-old midfielder has now completed a move to Premier League side Aston Villa.
It has been confirmed by the club that Danny Drinkwater will spend the rest of the season on loan in the Premier League at Aston Villa having returned to Chelsea following his loan spell at Burnley.
Drinkwater’s loan spell at the Turf Moor was disrupted by injuries as he made only two appearances for the club.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have also confirmed that 27-year-old defender Michael Hector has formally completed his permanent move to Fulham which was first announced back in September.
He has been training with our neighbours since then and made his debut for them in the FA Cup at the weekend when they beat Aston Villa.
Hector spent last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and made 39 appearances as the Owls finished 12th in the second tier.
