“Pay my release clause” “I want Chelsea move” – Brilliant midfielder tells Chelsea to pay his £52M release clause

This transfer window, a transfer deal involving the Spanish midfielder will only happen if Chelsea and other teams are willing to pay his £52 million asking price.

The 25-year-old international player from Spain is still doing well at Red Bull Leipzig. He has a £52 million release clause that goes into effect this summer.

Olmo signed a new deal last June that extends until 2027, but because of a condition, several suitors are currently determining if they could bring him into their summer plans.

With Olmo’s versatility to play off the striker or on either flank, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Manchester City are just a few of the teams that are still monitoring his development.

It is no secret that CHELSEA FC will be in need of adding to that squad over the next few months as the current side will not be good enough to compete for that Champions League spots next season.

Olmo’s current contract contains a £52 million release clause but that is due to expire on July 20: ‘My people know what I want to do… I have too much to do with the Euros to be thinking about other things,’ he said. ‘I have a contract with Leipzig and we have a very good relationship. There will be no problem.

‘My 60 million clause until July 20? You know what you have to do,’ he said. ‘If not, you’ll have to fight a little later.’
