‘Perfect’ Chelsea player will now be fit to face Arsenal after the international break

Reports have claimed that Chelsea will have Reece James fit and firing by the time the international break is over.

According to London World, the captain will be able to feature against Arsenal in their next Premier League game.

James has been sorely missed since the first game of the season, where he looked to lead his side into a new era where he was the face of it.

He put in a really strong performance against Liverpool on the opening day of the campaign, although it emerged just days later that he had suffered yet another injury.

While the extent at the time was unknown, many did not think we would be in October and he still wouldn’t have returned to action yet.

In his absence, Malo Gusto originally had been filling the void on that side. However, his first season at the club was brought to a halt by a red card against Aston Villa.

Reece James fit for Arsenal

Since then, Marc Cucurella has surprisingly filled the role for the last three games. These have coincided with three consecutive wins for the Blues.

The Spaniard in particular has been impressive in these victories, as he looks to get his Chelsea career back on track.

However, it may be time for James to return when title-contending Arsenal make the short trip across London.

Mauricio Pochettino is already a massive fan of the player, and this was shown straight away when he was named the club captain.

The manager described him as the ‘perfect’ player in an early interview, and will no doubt be counting down the days until he is available for selection again.
