Though he had the fewest touches (22) and passes (9, 6 successful) of any starter, Broja was very strong in duels, winning 7 of the 12 that he contested.
The key reason for his lack of involvement up front was Albania’s defensive approach. He performed to a score of 6 out of 10.
But after a dismal season in the Premier League, Broja might pass up the opportunity to play for Enzo Maresca and not give it his all in the ongoing EURO 2024.
