Chelsea suffer yet another 2-1 defeat in the Premeir League against Manchester United at old Trafford as their season keeps crumbling.
However, Manchester United as been poor in their recent games but use Chelsea to return to winning ways.
Pochettino side shows lack of energy in the game and Prime Eden Hazard has reveals the lack of winning mentality in this Chelsea squad which is affecting the player’s mentality.
This present Chelsea team lacks that winning mentality and Eden Hazard has suggested Chelsea should go for the return of Jose Mourinho.
Eden Hazard reveals when he was at Chelsea how Jose Mourinho integrates that winning mentality to his teammates.
Eden Hazard flash back on what Jose Mourinho told them :
He said: “Nobody likes to lose. Whenever we lose a match during the season we all say the same. Nobody is happy. That is true, so we are going to try. When I see the players competing in training, against each other, they go in hard and give everything. They fight for a result and are not happy if they lose.
“The winning culture starts on the training ground. It is always a competition. [Monday’s] training session was about finishing and we had two teams in different finishing situations. And one was upset because the orange team won against the blue team — and it was just a finishing session.
“You bring that competition to everything you do and it becomes normal that you don’t like to lose. You don’t accept defeat. If you lose, you have to analyse why and that is part of a winning culture. But the game is just part of a coaching process but we will be playing for a result.”
Meanwhile, Eden Hazard says Mourinho has brought a freshness to the squad. “With the manager, I’ve noticed the preparation in training, none of the sessions have been the same so obviously a lot of thought goes into that, and the general order he brings across to the players,” said the centre-half.
“He expects you to work hard, he expects a sharpness and intensity, but he likes to have a laugh off the pitch. It’s exciting for me because I’ve never worked with him before.”
