Ready to make his debut.. Frank Lampard calls up 19-year-old star to Chelsea first-team training
Chelsea youngster Eddie Beach has been spotted in first-team training this week alongside the top two goalkeepers at the club.
The 19-year-old can be seen playing a variation of tennis with the other options in a video on the club’s Twitter.
Beach is yet to make his debut for the Blues in a position where plenty of discussion has taken place over who is the best man for the role.
However, Frank Lampard has elected to give him a chance in training with just a handful of games left in the Premier League this season.
This season has seen the return of Kepa Arrizabalaga to the starting side, with him being the preferred option during Graham Potter’s tenure at the club.
He has displaced Edouard Mendy from the side, who was less than two years ago crowned the greatest goalkeeper in Europe.

This season he has hardly got a look in though, and this has led to a large disparity between the club and player over a potential new contract.
This has opened up the potential that he will be on the move, as the club weigh up signing another player for next season.
It has already been reported that Mauricio Pochettino is already lining up a new goalkeeper if he is given the keys to Stamford Bridge
A number of Premier League options have reportedly already been considered for the role.
David Raya and Robert Sanchez have both been linked with the move to West London, with them soon to be out of contract or recently out of favour respectively.
Andre Onana has also been linked with the move, however it has already been claimed that he would not be Pochettino’s first choice for the role.
