The Blues have reportedly been interested in a summer move for Real Madrid midfielder Isco.
However, reports claims Chelsea have made proposal for Spanish play-maker in recent month, though neither came up with a suitable enough offer to convince Real Madrid to sell him in January, according to Don Balon.
Spain international playmaker has shown plenty of improvement in recent times and it now looks like that Zinedine Zidane wants to keep him at Santiago Bernabeu despite interest from the Premier League giants.
It would have been great from a neutral perspective to see Isco playing in the English top-flight at some point.
Don Balon reports, however, that Real Madrid wanted around £63million for Spaniard, and neither Arsenal or Chelsea would meet that price.
Meanwhile, Chelsea could be a perfect place for Isco as the Blues are in need to add creativity to their midfield area as Willian and Pedro expected to depart from the club after the end of the season.
