Real Madrid set asking price for Chelsea transfer target

Spanish club Real Madrid have set their asking price for Isco after Liverpool joined Chelsea in the race for the Spanish player, According to Daily Star.

Real Madrid stated that they want £47 million for Isco but have now increase their asking price to £58 million for the attacking midfielder.

However, Isco’s current deal doesn’t expire until 2022 leaving Real Madrid under no pressure to sell the midfielder despite his lack of playing in the sqaud.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane revealed in December that Isco is an important player for Real Madrid.

Zidane said: “We’ve never lost Isco. He’s an important player, he’s always shown that, and he has personality.

“He stands up to be counted in difficult moments and today he’s done remarkably well again.

“The season is long, but we’re happy because in the end winning these games gives you a lot of confidence and it’s what we want: to continue growing as a team.”
