REPORT: Rudiger reacted to latest Chelsea offer as Juventus & Bayern join race to sign defender
Chelsea are hoping Rudiger will sign a new Chelsea contract as soon as possible, but seems the defender wants more than what Chelsea board are offering him.
However, according to The Telegraph. Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has rejected Chelsea’s offer of a new contract.
The German international, who has left than a year left on his Chelsea contract, was offered a new deal worth £140,000 a week which he turned down.
Rudiger reportedly believes he’s worth more due to his importance in Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea team.
The 29-year-old is reportedly aware that teammates N’golo Kante and Romelu Lukaku are earning north of £200,000 per week and is demanding the Blues offer him a deal in excess of £200,000 per week.
Rudiger believes he can get his wage demands if he leaves the club at the end of the season amid interest from Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
