Chelsea target Maurizio Sarri has reportedly prepared a transfer wish-list which could cost up to £140M.
We all thought that Sarri would be appointed by now. If that was not going to be the case, you’d expect that we’d at least have official confirmation that Antonio Conte is staying on as Chelsea manager.
At the time of writing, we are entirely in the dark over what the future holds in store for our football club. We’re yet to spend a single penny this summer, with virtually all of our rivals showing ambition in the transfer market.
According to the Express, Sarri is preparing to make up for lost time. The Italian is thought to have drawn up a five-man list of players he would like Chelsea to target upon his arrival.
That list, as per the report, consists of Napoli stars Elseid Hysaj and Jose Callejon, Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani, Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino and Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri.
The Express believe that signing all of the aforementioned players would cost Chelsea somewhere in the region of £140M. That’s a price we need to be prepared to pay if we want to have any hope of being competitive once again.
