Eden Hazard is untouchable in Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea side, according to German defender Antonio Rudiger.
In just eight appearances this season, Belgian superstar Hazard has managed to find the net on seven occasions but is going to be rested for tonight’s clash at Stamford Bridge in the UEFA Europa League against MOL Vidi.
Chelsea are still yet to lose in any competitions this season, and Sarri has rotated very little in the Premier League, using less than half of his 28-man squad in the games so far.
Despite the lack of rotation, Rudiger does not think any player at the club can rest easy under Sarri, except Hazard himself, with the Belgian cementing himself as Chelsea’s talisman this season.
Everyone has to fight for their place in this team. No one’s place is safe, apart from Hazard. He is safe, I am sure about that! He is an example to the rest of us.
We have to approach the game against MOL with the same mentality as against Liverpool last week.
