Antonio is not in talks with Chelsea over a new contract.
Rudiger have three-and-a-half years deal.
The German defender believes it’s not necessary right now.
Sky Sports’ reporter asked if Antonio is discussing new terms with Chelsea, Rudiger replied: “That’s not the case to be honest.
There’s no need, because I still have three-and-a-half years to go.
“There’s no speaking between me and the club. It’s also not necessary at the moment either with three-and-a-half years to go.”
Earlier Rudiger said he likes Sarri’s style of management, however defeats to Spurs and Wolves showed the players another side of their Italian boss:
”After the Wolves game, he (Sarri) was terrifying,” Antonio Rudiger revealed to Evening Standard. ”He was going crazy. But that was okay because we shouldn’t have lost this match. The day after [the telling-off], [Sarri] was very calm and clear-minded. He spoke with us and made it clear that we have to believe in ourselves. He wanted us to go into the City game looking for the win.”
Should we force the signing of the new contract?
