English side Chelsea are on the look out for a possible signing of attacking talents ahead of the opening of the January transfer window and one player they have really taken much interest on is Krzysztof Piatek.

The Blues already have Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud as strikers available for manager Maurizio Sarri and ace Belgian international player Eden Hazard can also make attacks from the middle if there is need for that, but it has appear that drafting in a new striker is one of the things on the agenda in the New Year.

In a report by The Sun, Mauro Icardi, Piatek and Callum Wilson have all been looked at by Chelsea scouts.

Mauro Icardi is Inter Milan striker and a household name known for scoring lot of goals after years in the Italian Serie A. Wilson on his own part has taken over the headlines following his excellent form for Bournemouth in the English Premier League this season, but Piatek on his own part is not well known in the UK.

Krzysztof Piatek is a full Poland international, but he was actually unable to make the Polish 23-man World Cup squad having been initially part of the 35-man squad.

He was signed to Genoa at the beginning of the season after making a name for himself in Poland playing for Zaglebie Lubin and Cracovia.

Piatek will no doubt fill a vacuum for lack of strength presently in the attack force of Chelsea as Morata and Giroud are presently not getting enough goals for the club.
