Eden Hazard is reportedly unhappy with Maurizio Sarri for playing him in the false nine role, according to reports.
Sarri no longer trust and believe in either Alvaro Morata or Olivier Giroud. This has led him to tweaking his tactics, playing Hazard upfront in attack.
The Belgian was on sung for the Blues when they thumped Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday. Hazard scored one and provided his ninth assist of the season in the same game.
The Mirror reports that the Belgian is open about his desire to play in his familiar position even though playing as a false nine, he has been somewhat successful recently.
Under the Blues’ former boss Antonio Conte, Hazard was played in similar position but without much success as he could not find his bearing.
The star wants a prominent role in which he will be able to run with ball and wreck havoc on defences.
Even though he has laid bare his displeasure, he is likely going continue playing in the same role until Sarri is able to sign a potent striker.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have been drawn alongside Malmo in the round of 32 of the Europa league game.
