‘Sign Sancho and Chilwell’- Chelsea fans want Frank Lampard to spend big after Bournemouth loss

Another disappointing performance at home for Frank Lampard’s side as Chelsea lost 1-0 to Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge. The Blues went behind in the 84th minute thanks to a Dan Gosling goal, which was given after some wrangling with the VAR.

Poor from us today, we were lucky to only lose 1-0 today. We have thrown away our top 4 chance in my opinion! We keeps dropping points to silly teams at home! We got Tottenham away next week, let’s be honest that’s another loss. We need to spend big on January!

It is now one win and four defeats in Chelsea’s last five Premier League games, with losses against teams towards the relegation zone like West Ham, Everton and Bournemouth.

With the January transfer window around the corner and Chelsea now able to spend money after seeing their transfer ban cut in half, plenty of fans are calling for Lampard to let loose in the coming weeks and bring in some top quality reinforcements.

Chelsea still sit fourth in the Premier League table, but if Manchester United and Tottenham both win their games on Sunday, they will be just two and three points behind, respectively.

And facing Lampard’s side up next in the league is a trip to north London to battle Spurs – which could potentially see Jose Mourinho’s side leapfrog the Blues in the table.

Chelsea have won just four of their last 11 games in all competitions, with five losses and two draws. And conceding late goals is also becoming an increasing concern, with goals shipped after 75 minutes in five of their last 10 games, including against Watford, Valencia, Everton, Lille and Bournemouth since the beginning of November.
