Striker will cost Blues £150m, Chelsea will get deal done for £40m, as Winger makes decision about joining Chelsea

According to the most recent sources, Chelsea wants to use the entire £40 million release clause to let go of Carney Chukwuemeka, an out-of-favor midfielder who is expected to depart Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window.

Since joining from Aston Villa, the midfield player has suffered numerous injuries. This season, he has only made one appearance for the Blues, a 14-minute cameo during their 5-0 victory against League Two team Barrow.

Now it has been claimed that we are open to letting the midfielder leave the club in the summer, and Marcesa has given the green light over a possible transfer move to happen.

Now the BBC sport website has claimed that the club will allow the midfielder to leave the club if their £40 million price is met.

But there has mostly been interest in signing Chukwuemeka on loan, and Yahoo Sports understands that is also Milan’s preference as they look for low-cost options to bolster their midfield for this January, but the star could still get a move away in the winter window.

ISAK FEE SET

Newcastle United have put a price tag in excess of £150m on Alexander Isak to ward off interest from the likes of CHELSEA, according to The Sunday Telegraph.

Newcastle signed Isak for £63m in the summer of 2022 from Spanish side Real Sociedad and he has four years left on his contract, and Isak is now regarded as one of the best strikers in the Premier League and a forward that all the big clubs have been linked with over the past 12 months.

It has been claimed that we could make a move in the January window and were reportedly ready to make an offer of £60-80 million in order to tempt Newcastle into getting a transfer deal done.

Isak has subsequently scored 11 goals in 16 Premier League appearances this season and is rediscovering his best form, having scored four of those in his last two matches, and Newcastle now want a whopping £150 million before they will allow the striker to leave the club.

Eddie Howe recently said Newcastle have no plans to sell the 25-year-old after his hat-trick in the 4-0 win at Ipswich earlier in December.

“There is no part of me or anyone at Newcastle that wants to let Alex go,” Howe said. “He’s part of our long-term plans. Personally, I don’t see that being an issue,” he said of potential interest in the January window.’

LEAO DECISION MADE

Rafael Leao is not interested in a move to the likes of CHELSEA in the January transfer window amid all the speculation that a move for the AC Milan star could happen.

The 25-year-old winger, widely regarded as one of the most exciting attacking talents in world football, has developed into one of the most creative players in Seria A over the past few seasons

Enjoying his sixth year at the San Siro, Leao has well and truly settled into life in Milan following a 2019 switch from Lille and his performances in Italy have caught the attention of some of Europe’s elite teams.

Leao is tied into a deal with Milan until 2028 and reports have suggested the Portugal international had an eye-watering €175m (£150m) release clause – which would have to be paid in full by potential suitors to force a move.

However – a move to the Premier League is not of in his plans, according to MilanLive and he would prefer to stay in Italian football or make the move to La Liga, where Barcelona remain keen.
