The blues will be hoping for a return to winning ways this weekend as they host Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge tomorrow (Saturday).
The Blues welcome the Cherries to west London looking to put a poor run of form in the league behind them, having lost three of their last four games in the top flight. Their opponents are also in poor form, having lost their last five games in a row in the Premier League.
Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard will be without defender Fikayo Tomori for the game in SW6, while Olivier Giroud has been struggling with an ankle sprain and the Blues are still without long-term absentees Marco van Ginkel and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. But the Blues do still have plenty of options when it comes to his team selection, following Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Lille in the Champions League in midweek.
Three of our reporters have picked how Chelsea could line up this weekend, and we have asked you – the fans – to pick the team you want to see line up against the Cherries.
And there are is a surprise change some fans want to see, according to the most popular XI picked by supporters. That is Callum Hudson-Odoi replacing Christian Pulisic in the front three, playing alongside Willian in a forward position behind the central striker Tammy Abraham.
It would be a surprise selection, with Lampard playing Willian, Pulisic and Abraham as a settled front three in recent weeks, when they are all fit.
However, Lampard has said that there is still more to come from Pulisic, suggesting that he wants more goals from the USA international.
