Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham is hoping to break into Maurizio Sarri’s first-team plans after two different loan spells with Bristol City and Swansea.
The 20-year-old returned from a loan spell at Swansea where he scored five Premier League goals across the 2017/18 campaign and got a nod into the England senior squad.
The highly rated forward was courted by Tottenham as shocking reports revealed that Spurs attempted to sign Abraham in the final hours of the summer transfer window, lodging a £25million bid for the striker on deadline day, but Chelsea rejected the bid to keep hold of the England international.
Abraham is still behind Alvaro Morata and Oliver Giroud in the pecking order, and has now revealed that Brazil icon, Ronaldo, gave him some words of advice as he chose to remain at the club.
“Thanks for your wise words I feel truly blessed,” Abraham posted on Instagram with a screenshot of a FaceTime conversation he had with Ronaldo.
