Chelsea identify the man to replace exit bound Eden Hazard.
Roman Abramovich wants the manager to work on a depleted transfer budget this summer which has led to an underwhelming choice as Hazard’s replacement.
After all these restrictions, the Blues have seemingly lowered the expectation of their transfer targets and guess who did they identify?
They have identified Middlesbrough’s Adama Traore as a potential replacement for Eden Hazard or Willian.
Eden Hazard is potentially leaving Stamford Bridge for the Spanish capital.
Roman has been having personal issues which could affect his professional ownership of the London club.
Regarding Hazard’s replacement he said:
“One player Chelsea have taken interest in is Adama Traore, who PSG are looking at as well. That tells you where Chelsea are at.”
“They see Adama Traore as a potential signing if they have to sell Eden Hazard or Willian. He’s certainly not an upgrade on either of those players. He would need a lot of development.”
“He’s attracted attention from a lot of Premier League clubs, principally because he has a release clause in his contract which because Boro didn’t get promoted means he can move for £18 million.”
The fans would give a mixture of furious and curious opinions on this plan.
