“They need to stop” “Enough” – Robert Sanchez warns two Chelsea stars after what they did in Forest draw

The goalkeeper was one of Chelsea’s best players against Nottingham Forest today.

Robert Sanchez made a series of excellent saves to keep the Blues in the game, and they eventually drew 1–1.

Noni Madueke’s goal got Chelsea back into the game, and he was characterized as the club’s brightest spark throughout the 90 minutes.

While Enzo Maresca still has an unblemished Premier League record dating back to the season’s start, they will be disappointed that they were unable to secure three points tonight.

One of the biggest disappointments will perhaps be regarding the players who are now suspended for the next game against Liverpool after picking up their fifth yellow cards of the season.

Robert Sanchez warns Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana

Both Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana both passed the threshold for too many bookings, and will miss the upcoming fixture after the international break.

Sanchez has warned his teammates that they need to stop with talking to the officials, which at this stage sees players earn themselves an easy yellow card.

He said to BBC Sport: “Massive players but it was unlucky. They need to stop talking to the officials. We have some very good players to come in.”

It is likely going to be Tosin Adarabioyo and Renato Veiga who slot into the side after the international break, with both knocking on the door for starts anyway with very impressive displays so far.

Cucurella a massive miss for Chelsea

However, it is clear just how important Cucurella is to what the Blues are trying to do under Maresca, and will be a big loss.

Many players who have been on the fringes of the starting XI in the Premier League have been waiting patiently for their opportunity, and now Adarabioyo and Veiga have the chance to prove they should be considered for more minutes off the back of this.
