After Chelsea failed to qualify for the Champions League last season, there were rumours that their star man, Eden Hazard was keen to move on; and with Real Madrid lurking in the background, his departure looked imminent.
Thankfully for the Blues, Hazard decided to keep faith and with Maurizio Sarri at the helm of affairs, the 27-year-old has started the season impressively.
In fact, the whole team has responded well to Sarri’s attacking philosophy and is yet to taste defeat after 4 matches. Hazard, especially, looks to be in devastating mood and is displaying the kind of form that has made him a fan favorite.
Even though there’s no league action this weekend, Hazard’s genius was on full display during Belgium’s 4-0 victory against Scotland on Friday as he went on to unleash an unstoppable shot to score a stunning goal.
More than his sumptuous finish, what really caught the eye though was the diminutive Belgian’s casual celebration that bordered on arrogance and seemed to suggest that he’s ready to bully his way through the opposition defence this season.
Chelsea fans were thrilled to see Hazard oozing such confidence. Check it out:
