Watching Spurs lose to Dortmund last night was more fun than usual.
Not only did we get to see Tottenham lose – AND Jose Mourinho lose, we also got to see Ethan Ampadu in action.
The young Wales star has barely featured this season on loan for RB Leipzig, but out of the Blue got a start in their biggest game of the season.
He was at his controlling best, patrolling the pitch and going sideline to sideline.
Speaking after the game, he showed he’s still positive about his future, and still keen to play for the Blues:
“I’m a Chelsea fan… I would like to be [part of Frank Lampard’s youth revolution next season”]
He’s not pushing for it though, giving the classic footballer answer that he’s got to worry about this season first, focus on Leipzig, etc. etc.
He’s keen to come back, and we’re sure Frank Lampard is keen to have him.
