Chelsea developed a style of play under Maurizio Sarri that became known as Sarri-ball, with the team playing out from the back and trying to pass it through midfield.
In the end it became stale, but we saw glimpses of some really good stuff along the way.
It looks like that might continue too, with Frank Lampard’s side earning a penalty after a move starting with the keeper which saw some lovely pass and move football.
As the Tweeter below said, “we shall call it: Lampardball.”
Let’s see if it takes off.
