Maurizio Sarri has given his first interview as Chelsea head coach exclusively to the club’s TV channel.
Sarri’s appointment was announced on Saturday morning, marking the end of a month-long saga, which would no doubt have frustrated the Italian.
With the deal now signed and sealed, Sarri can get to work on the training pitch and begin to implement his ideas and style of play upon his new players.
He’s given us an idea of what we can expect during his interview with Chelsea TV. It’s well worth a watch…
Sarri’s words are incredibly refreshing. He does not appear to be obsessed by winning silverware, rather making Chelsea play entertaining football.
There’s nothing to say they can’t go hand-in-hand. Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side proved that they can.
If it all clicks, Chelsea are going to be playing better football than we have seen at any point under Roman Abramovich.
We can’t wait.
‘I would give all of my possessions to win something with Chelsea.’
