It all kicked off on the touchline after Ross Barkley equalised for Chelsea against Manchester United.
Barkley fired home into the back of David De Gea’s net to rescue Chelsea’s unbeaten record and prevent Maurizio Sarri from suffering an embarrassing defeat in front of the home crowd.
It was a moment which sent the entirety of Stamford Bridge wild. Chelsea fans erupted in ecstasy, as you would expect, and that emotion was reciprocated by the bench.
Chelsea assistant Marco Ianni lost his head momentarily and punched the air in front of Jose Mourinho’s face in celebration. He taunted Mourinho once again while returning back to the Chelsea bench.
Mourinho wasn’t happy about it all. The United boss’ anger boiled over and he had to be restrained by a steward. It was hard to decipher what was going on among all the bodies, but Mourinho’s fume was plain to see.
