Pedro gave Chelsea the lead against Inter Milan last night after some good work from Alvaro Morata.
Diego Costa’s willingness to chase down lost causes and turn it into a favourable situation made him a real hit among the Chelsea fans.
Morata’s commitment was something that was called into question last season, but the part he played in the opening goal suggested that times may be changing.
The Spaniard won the ball back in the Inter Milan penalty area, left two defenders for dead before firing towards goal.
His effort was saved at the near post, but Pedro was on hand to fire home his second goal in as many games under Maurizio Sarri.
