Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has defeated Jose Mourinho for the second time this season as the Blues got a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge courtesy of goals from Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso.

A late Antonio Rudiger own goal gave the game a tense finish, and Lampard was relieved to have gotten a much deserved win.

At the final whistle, Lampard punched the air in wild celebration before making his way over to the Spurs dugout, but Spurs boss Jose Mourinho quickly dashed out into the tunnel, leaving Lampard to only shake hands with Mourinho’s assistants.

“Mourinho throwing his toys out of the pram and not shaking Lampard’s hand,” one fan said.

Another commented: “The Special one is p***ed.”

Following the win, Lampard has set a record having become the first manager to record a league double over Jose Mourinho in his whole career.

When told about the record, Lampard said: “I have just found that out and what credit to Jose for having that record. It’s nothing to do with me!
